Pinoy Angelfish
Pinoy Angelfish are a striking variety of freshwater angelfish (Pterophyllum) known for their deep, dark blue or black coloration, often with iridescent blue highlights. This unique and bold color pattern makes them stand out in any aquarium. Like other angelfish, they have the classic triangular body shape and long, flowing fins that give them an elegant, graceful appearance.
Originating from the Amazon Basin, Pinoy Angelfish prefer warm water between 75-82°F (24-28°C) and do best in well-planted aquariums with vertical swimming space. Though generally peaceful, they can become territorial during breeding.
Pinoy Angelfish thrive on a varied diet of flakes, pellets, and occasional live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp. With proper care and attention, they can live up to 10 years, offering a beautiful and captivating addition to freshwater aquariums.
