$7.00Price

The emerald rasbora, Microrasbora erythromicron, is a stunning freshwater fish native to the small, high-altitude lakes of Myanmar, particularly Lake Inle. Known for its metallic emerald-green body adorned with striking horizontal orange or red stripes, this small fish typically grows to about 1 inch in length. The emerald rasbora’s vibrant colors and slender build make it a visually appealing choice for nano and community aquariums.

These peaceful, schooling fish do well in well-planted tanks with calm water flow, replicating their natural lake habitat. They thrive in water temperatures between 68-75°F and a pH range of 6.5-7.5, making them suitable for cooler, stable environments. As omnivores, emerald rasboras enjoy a varied diet that includes micro-pellets, quality flakes, and occasional live or frozen foods like brine shrimp and daphnia.

Their vivid coloration, peaceful nature, and adaptability make emerald rasboras a favorite among aquarists, especially those seeking a dynamic and visually striking fish for a small or nano tank setup.
