The El Tigre Endler Guppy (Poecilia wingei) is a vibrant and colorful freshwater fish known for its lively personality and striking tiger-like patterns. A variation of the Endler's Livebearer, this species is native to Venezuela and typically grows to about 1 to 1.5 inches (2.5 to 3.8 cm) in length, making it perfect for smaller aquariums.

El Tigre Endlers are characterized by their bright, iridescent colors, which often include shades of orange, black, green, and blue. Males are especially colorful and have intricate markings, including stripes that resemble those of a tiger, giving them their name. Females are generally less colorful but still add beauty to a tank.

These guppies thrive in warm water, ideally between 72-82°F (22-28°C), and prefer a planted aquarium with plenty of swimming space. They are peaceful and do well in community tanks with other small, non-aggressive species.

As omnivores, El Tigre Endlers enjoy a varied diet that includes high-quality flakes, micro pellets, and live or frozen foods like brine shrimp or daphnia. They are hardy and easy to care for, making them a popular choice for both beginner and experienced aquarists. Their energetic nature and vivid colors add a lively and eye-catching element to any aquarium.
